“It is a nervous business importing a horse from overseas, but for us multiply that by 100! We were first-timers, the Colt “Donnerubin” represented a big investment for us as a breeding and performance dressage stallion for the future, he was only 7 months old and had only just been weaned the month prior. But Sea Horse Sea Freight Ltd, made the process easy, they organized everything from importing blood tests at the Stud, pick-up from the stud and transport from Brisbane to Sydney with a reputable transporter, quarantine, vaccinations, importing paperwork, shipping, to unloading on the Port and dealing with MAF. They gave us daily updates of the Donnerubin’s entire 5 day trip from Stud to Port Tauranga. "Two broodmares one heavy in foal traveled from Christchurch to Auckland by transporter. They were then shipped to Sydney on the Sea Horse Sea Freight charter and then onto Tamworth by another transporter. They were in such good shape that the empty mare was bred three days later, and has recently been given a positive 16 day scan. Can you believe it. The other mare is also happily grazing in the broodmare paddock awaiting foaling. The horses prove that they were well looked after and the whole trip was a walk in the park. We have used your services in the past and will continue to do so in future. Many thanks."

"In December 2001, I imported a colt from Australia and he arrived in New Zealand in a less than satisfactory condition. The shipping company on that occasion was NOT Seahorse Seafreight....
In November 2002, having purchased another purebred Arabian mare from Australia, I was naturally very hesitant about bringing her to New Zealand by sea.
